Amber Hamilton

Amber Hamilton is a senior leader with fifteen years of experience leading development, strategy, and communications at education and equity-focused organizations, including Beyond100K, OneGoal, and Teach For America. She leads Fig Leaf Development, a trusted firm that  partners with senior leaders, social impact organizations, and the foundations that support them, to build their capacity to fundraise effectively. Amber has built a career in development, with a particular focus on supporting early stage organizations launch their development function and teams. 

Most recently she served as the founding chief external officer at Beyond100K (formerly 100Kin10) where she led the organization’s rebrand and public launch at the Clinton Global Initiative Summit in addition to a multi-year giving campaign aligned to the launch of their new 10-year strategic plan. Prior to that she was the founding head of development for regions at OneGoal supporting six senior leaders to reach their combined development goals of $13M. 

She was the founding head of development for OneGoal-New York where she grew the board from 2 to 8 members and increased revenue by 400%. Her passion for development began on staff at Teach For America. Amber is a Los Angeles native, a daughter of educators, and a mom to three girls who she shares with her husband. She holds a bachelor's degree from The George Washington University. She is a member of the board of the Los Angeles Education Partnership and the Archer Alumni Board.
